    Leading in Medical Health Services

    Taipei Medical University (TMU) from Taipei, Taiwan is a leading university in medical health sciences and social welfare in Taiwan as well as in Asia. TMU is dedicated to promoting best health services to society through advanced biomedical research, providing undergraduate and graduate level education in the biomedical health sciences, and providing outstanding international level healthcare in Taiwan and elsewhere in the world. The University has three affiliated hospitals in Taipei City and New Taipei City, with more than 3,000 beds in full-scale healthcare services, serving more than 10,000 clinic patients a day.

    International activities

    TMU has developed into one of the top leading universities in Asia (QS rank 80) as well as internationally. Taipei Medical University with seven colleges is serving more than 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and has more than 600 faculty members in teaching and education. About 5% of the students are from abroad with more than 30 nationalities. TMU is the only University in Taiwan that manages two medical missions in Africa and also has established a health center on Marshall Islands in the Pacific. TMU works at many international levels and conducts several international platforms, and hosts the QS International Higher Education Leadership Forum in Taipei in 2013.
